How do I delete web pages from my Overfuel site using Pages?

For dealership staff who edit the website.

? Consider unpublishing instead of deleting. Setting a page's Status to Draft takes it off your site but keeps it, along with its revision history, so you can bring it back. It also lets you redirect its address. See 10-minute recipe: retire a page without losing its traffic.

To delete a page

1. Log in to dealers.overfuel.com. Click Website, then Pages.
2. Click Trash under the page's title, and confirm.

Deleting a page needs manage access to pages. If you don't see Trash, ask your portal administrator.

Before you delete — three things

• Deleting doesn't create a redirect. Anyone with the old link, including Google, gets a "page not found". If the page had traffic, add a redirect to its closest equivalent (see 2-minute fix: add a redirect).
• Remove its menu link in Website → Menus. Otherwise the menu points at a missing page.
• Deletion can't be undone from the portal. If you delete something by mistake, email support@overfuel.com straight away with the page's title and address.
