How do I build a new page from a template?

For dealership staff who edit the website.

Templates are ready-made page layouts, such as a contact page, a finance or pre-approval page, a trade-in page, a team page or a review page. Starting from one saves building the structure yourself.

Steps

1. Log in to dealers.overfuel.com. Click Website, then Pages.
2. Click Start From Template.
3. Browse the gallery by category, or search it. Click a template to see it larger, then click Use this template.
4. The page opens in the Page Editor. A notice lists the things to check, such as your phone number, address and links. Work through it, and replace the sample text and images with your own.
5. Open Page Settings and set the Page Slug, Meta Title and Meta Description. Set Status to Published when you're ready.
6. Click Save, then add the page to your menu (Website → Menus).

Good to know

• The gallery changes over time, as templates are added and updated, so what you see may differ from anything listed here.
• Some templates pull in Reusable Content. A team page shows the staff you've added under Website → Reusable Content → Staff Members, and a reviews page shows your Customer Reviews. Add those first, or the section will be empty.
• Don't rebuild your homepage from a template unless you mean to redesign it. Talk to us first.
