  1. To begin, go to the Google Analytics website by clicking https://analytics.google.com and sign in using your Google account credentials.

  2. Once logged in, look for the "Admin" link at the bottom left corner of the screen. Click on it.

  3. In the top menu of the Admin section, you may find multiple accounts if you have both UA (legacy analytics) and GA4 tags. Use the account switcher next to the analytics logo to select the desired account.

  4. For GA4 tags (newer version), locate the center column within the Admin section and click on "Property Access Management." A window will appear.

  5. For legacy UA tags (older version), find the far left column within the Admin section and click on "Account Access Management." This will trigger the same pop-up window as in the previous step.

  6. In the pop-up window, add the email address "support@overfuel.com" to grant access to the outside party.

  7. Make sure to assign the appropriate permissions level to the user: "Manage Users," "Edit," "Collaborate," or "Read & Analyze." This determines the extent of their access and capabilities within Google Analytics.

  8. If desired, you can choose to notify the user about the access by checking the box to send them an email.

  9. Click on the "Add" button within the pop-up window to save the changes and grant access to the outside party.

  10. To confirm that the access has been granted successfully, inform the outside party to log in to their Google account associated with the email address you provided.

  11. Once logged in, they should go to the Google Analytics website and they will be able to see the account, property, or view that you granted them access to.

Please note that the outside party will need to have a Google account associated with the email address you provided to access Google Analytics. If they don't have one, they will need to create a Google account using that email address before proceeding.

If you need to modify the user's permissions or revoke their access, you can revisit the Admin section, locate the user in the corresponding column, and make the necessary changes using the checkboxes provided.

By following these revised instructions, you can easily provide Overfuel with access to your Google Analytics account.
