For dealership staff who manage the payment calculator. Time: about 2 minutes.
The APRs your website's payment calculator quotes come from your own rate sheet in the dealer portal. When rates move, you can change them yourself; the site picks up the new rates as soon as you save.
⚠️ Use Inventory → Settings, not Website → Settings. There's an old "Interest Rates" link under Website → Settings. It now only points you to the new location, so ignore it.
Steps
- Log in to dealers.overfuel.com.
- Click Inventory at the top, then the Settings tab.
- Choose Finance & Lease Rates in the left-hand menu. The page heading is Manage Finance Rates.
- If you only want to see some rows, use the buttons at the top to filter by condition (New, Pre-owned, CPO). You can also use the term boxes.
- Click an Interest Rate cell and type the new rate as a percentage, for example
6.49. You can use up to two decimal places.- Tab moves you to the next rate cell.
- The ↑ / ↓ arrow keys change the rate by 0.01.
- Rows you've changed turn yellow, and a banner shows how many unsaved changes you have. Click Save at the bottom of the page.
- You'll see "Interest rates were successfully updated." If you don't, your changes weren't saved.
Check it worked
Open a vehicle page in a private or incognito window and check the rate the payment calculator starts with.
? Why a private window? Your browser remembers what you last chose in the calculator, including the rate, term and credit tier. A normal window can keep showing your old numbers after the new rates are live. Returning shoppers see the same thing. A private window starts from your current rates.
If the page looks different
- You see lender programs with On/Off switches instead of a table you can edit. Your rates come from lender rate programs rather than your own sheet. You can switch programs on and off, but the rates are set by the programs. Contact us if a program's rate looks wrong.
- You don't see a Settings tab under Inventory. Your user role doesn't include inventory settings. Ask the portal administrator at your dealership, or contact us.
If the calculator doesn't change
You saved, checked in a private window, and the rate is still the old one. Some accounts have a single flat rate set on our side, and it overrides the sheet. Send us the vehicle's URL, the rate you expected and the rate you're seeing, and we'll check.
