2-minute fix: update your store hours

For dealership staff. Time: about 2 minutes.

Your opening hours, phone numbers and department emails come from your location record. When you change them in the portal, the new details show on your website's header, the hours table on your contact and location pages, and the details search engines read. That includes one-off closures and holiday hours.

⚠️ Your Google Business Profile is separate. Changing hours here doesn't change Google Maps or Search. Update your Business Profile too, especially for holidays.

Change your regular hours

1. Log in to dealers.overfuel.com. Click Website, then Settings, then Locations & Hours.
2. Click Edit on the location.
3. Click the department's tab on the left: Hours: Sales, Hours: Service, Hours: Parts, Hours: Rentals or Hours: Collision.
4. For each day, choose Opens at and Closes at, or tick Closed or Appointment Only.
5. Click Hours: Special on the left, then click Save. The button at the bottom reads Next on every tab except the last one, and only the last tab has Save. Wait for "Your location has been saved."

Add a holiday closure or one-off hours

1. In the same Edit window, click Hours: Special.
2. Click Add Row. Choose the Department and the Date. Leave Closed ticked for a full closure, or untick it and set the special opening and closing times.
3. Add one row per department per date. Use the duplicate icon to copy a row, for example to repeat a closure for Service and Parts.
4. Click Save.

You can add a whole year of holidays in one go. A special-hours row only takes over on its own date. The rest of the time your regular hours show.

Phone numbers and emails

The Phone Numbers and Email Addresses tabs in the same window hold a Main number and address, plus one for each department.

⚠️ Always fill in Phone: Main. The phone number in your site header, and the Call button on every vehicle page, both use it. If it's blank, those buttons won't dial.

Good to know

• The "Open now / Closed" message in your header uses Sales hours.
• Collision isn't in the Special-hours department list yet. For collision-centre holiday hours, email us.
• Deleting a saved special-hours row takes effect straight away, even before you click Save.
• ⚠️ Don't use the trash icon on a location to "clear" it. That removes the whole location from your account. If you're closing a location, contact us.
• Can't open Locations & Hours? It needs the account & security permission, which is separate from website settings. Ask your portal administrator.
